In this article, the vegan makeup club has found the Top 10 Vegan Hygiene washes. Here is how we evaluate products, so that you know what our top 10 vegan hygiene wash rating means:
- A value of money price point- making ethical makeup and skincare options accessible to many people;
- Has less invasive chemistry without substituting quality and irritation to skin – Organic compounds are prioritized; and
- Must be effective as demonstrated by feedback and reviews online from Amazon, Product Reviews, Online Store Reviews and Google Product Reviews.
- These vegan hygiene wash products have been evaluated by us for your enjoyment and use.
So as you can see, our ratings have strong merit for you to consider when buying a vegan hygiene wash. This most important consideration – by far for a hygiene wash is the chemistry, as females we cannot compromise quality but we also are unable to use harsher chemicals on our sensitive area as it can imbalance Ph. So we prioritized hygiene washes which used less harmful chemicals but still remain vegan.
Wash By ZeroTaboos takes the lead this year. I’d rather use this on my vagina than other products because it does not contain parabenes, herbal extracts or sulfate. Herbal extracts are great for giving you a “fresh feeling” but only after giving you “the burn” and that icky chemical chafing feeling. The price-point is fantastic for the results it can give you for only $19USD. Wash by ZeroTabooes was rated 1 our of our Top 10 Vegan Hygiene Wash Products for you to use this year.
Washing my personal areas with Wash by Zero Taboos makes my vagina feel clean for longer, even after exercise or a long day. It’s a vegan formula and has less harmful chemicals which means it’s not as invasive to the environment as other products.
Splash Gentle Feminine Wash by Sliquid comes in second despite being ‘Amazon’s Choice’. We rated it second because it contains “botanical’s“, which in few people may cause painful and long-lasting irritation. It’s a vegan hygiene wash which is what we are about. The scented washes contain essential oils, so be careful when washing yourself if you choose to get a scented wash. A little will go a long way. We rated it second because of it’s quality compound ingredients and price-point. Only $9.55 plus shipping, definitely a good choice. Splash Gentle was rated number two of our Top 10 Vegan Hygiene Wash Products for you to use in 2020.
Splash Gentle Feminine Wash by Sliquid come with 300+ customer ratings on Amazon where one satisfied customer said:
” I have probably been using this intimate wash for about 2 years. Almost daily. I have never had any bad reaction. I really like how it feels, making you feel clean but not with the dryness most soaps leave behind. Very natural too. Totally recommend this product!!! “See the customers review here.
In summary, the Vegan Splash Gentle Feminine Wash by Sliquid leaves it’s customers feeling clean, refreshed and confident for the rest of the day and doesn’t leave you with that ‘dry-clinical’ feeling that many wipes and tissues give you.
The Vegan Natural Feminine Cleansing Wash by Rael comes in third on our list because it contains essential oils labeled as herbs, albiet in smaller quantities ensuring that any fragrance is “light and refreshing”. It’s a foaming vegan wash which means you know where you are applying it and it’s easy to have a gentle scrub. This feminine hygiene makes you feel “lighter”, gives you that soft and airy feel. Our 3rd rated out of our top 10 Vegan Hygiene Wash Products.
It’s important to note that whilst this is a vegan wash, a large portion of the compound is fragrance. A little goes a long way and I would not leave the foam on your vagina for too long. It would be important to do an initial rinse and light scrub before applying the wash and then do another rinse and light scrub. The last thing you want is to pat yourself dry and still have some of the soap on your vagina. It will cause a sting for sure.
For our review of the vegan sensitive wash by the honey pot company we were impressed by the portability of the wash making it easy to use on the go for us busy women. It comes with a $7.99 or $9.99 price tag depending on the size of the container which you prefer. The formulation does contain apple cider vinegar and advertises a “herbal” concoction which is why it was not a priority on our list this year.
The Honey Pot Company Vegan Sensitive Wash does have 200 positive reviews on it’s amazon profile but we found that the product prioritizes fragrance and packaging over the comfort of it’s users especially with it’s emphasis on herbal concoctions and essential oils which leave you with a “menthol” like freshness which is dry and artificial which they are obviously trying to cloak with the floral scents. ‘
You might like it and it’s only $9.99 plus postage for a large container which you can carry with you on the go. Our 4th rated out of our top 10 Vegan Hygiene Wash Products .
Iris & Orchid Natural Herbal Foaming Feminine Cleanser comes in number five on our list and you can probably guess the reasoning for this. Yes, it’s a foaming wash which will provide you with that gentle scrub that you may itch for but it does contain essential oils which we all know that I do not prefer as a general rule because you can get that clinical dry feeling after washing.
However, this Iris & Orchid Natural Herbal Foaming Feminine Cleanser review is not entirely negative as it does have an attractive price point which makes it accessible to many women. It’s only $14.99 plus shipping and comes with 21 positive ratings, cannot go wrong with this product but be wary when washing yourself with this. It foams so a little does go a long way. Our 5th rated out of our top 10 Vegan Hygiene Wash Products.
6. Miss Bud’s Vegan Organic Hemp Intimate Feminine Wash Balanced pH Levels Green Tea and Chamomile Extract
Miss Bud’s Vegan Organic Hemp Intimate Feminine Wash is made with pure hemp seed oil which every vegan will love. It does leave you with a fresh feeling without the dryness. My vulva felt clean after use and didn’t take away all the moister from it. Some of the other washes leave you with a dry feeling like your vagina or vulva is dry and skin is going to crack.
However, the wash does come with tea extracts and in large amounts these can dry your out. If you use a lot of this wash it may dry you out a lot. So bee careful.
Miss Bud’s Vegan Organic Hemp Intimate Feminine Wash does smell good and may even balance you out but every woman’s Ph is different and your vagina may respond differently. It has a decent price point of $12.99 plus postage. Our 6th rated out of our top 10 Vegan Hygiene Wash Products.
SweetSpot Labs Natural Vegan Gentle Feminine Body Wash is one of the better washes which I have used. However, I noticed that overtime that I started getting redness. I do not know if I was over washing or using too much of the vegan hygiene wash on my vagina.
I did like the $12 price point but I found that my vagina started getting sore after repeated use. Which is why the vegan hygiene wash was ranked 7 out of 10. Our 7th rated out of our top 10 Vegan Hygiene Wash Products.
8. Organic Yoni Wash (Vegan) by Gemstone Yoni . Don’t put this on your urethra. It’s going to burn and you will need to put a cucumber on your vagina if you want the burning to stop. Don’t use this. It’s $24.99 and would have better use as a bum wash or floor cleaner. Our 8th rated out of our top 10 Vegan Hygiene Wash Products.
Cookie Wash (Lavender) by Sweet Cookie Jar comes in a 5oz container and is advertised to “keep your cookie fresh”, the ingredients list is vagina friendly and is a vegan hygiene wash. it contains vegetative extracts.
it has 238 ratings and specifies that it is not for internal use. So only wash outside don’t go to deep inside your vagina when using this vegan hygiene wash. Our 9th rated out of our top 10 Vegan Hygiene Wash Products.
Vegan Intimate Wash for Sensitive Skin by Organyc is a vegan hygiene wash which came in last on our list this year for several reasons which we will go into now. It does have 500 plus rating and is available on amazon for less than $5 plus shipping.
Many other vegan beauty blogs will advertise this product as number 1 or number 2 we rated it last because of it’s sulfate contents and dependency on essential oils.
Yes, it’s a fantastic vegan hygiene wash but here at vegan makeup club we though that the product compound could be less dependent on essential oils and sulfates to make a quality product. Our 10th rated out of our top 10 Vegan Hygiene Wash Products.
